Certification Program Manager

As our Certification Program Manager, you'll play a key role in crafting persona-based Customer certifications. You will work cross functionally with Marketing, CS and Product to ensure the Certification Program is driving adoption of Gong while also supporting our raving fans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Relaunch the Gong Certification program, including mapping the different certifications and their curricula, as well as documentation of timelines, key milestones, dependencies, risks and blockers.
• Assist in the creation and execution of a certification promotion and communication plan (multiple persona-based certifications).
• Collaborate on the design, development, and evaluation of certification exams, as well as recertification requirements.
• Work with the Instructional Design team to craft compelling content for certification such as exam preparation, exercises, workshops, and study guides.
• Create effective written responses to Certification candidates regarding certification status, certification lapse, re-certification, etc.
• Be a raving fan and help create raving fans of the Gong Certification experience driving participation and adoption of certification programs.
• Partner and collaborate with the Product team to ensure we have the right content highlighted in our certification.
• Partner with the Product and Instructional Design teams to continuously audit certification content and exam questions to ensure the Certifications are up-to-date and aligned with new product releases.
• Continually assess the success of the certification effort using objective success metrics and partnering with CS and Marketing leadership (and other stakeholders) to make iterative improvements.
• Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the program and share this progress with necessary stakeholders.
• Develop weekly and/or monthly work plans and modify the plans, as needed.
• Proactively handle project issues and/or risks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of hands-on project/program management experience
• 3+ years leveraging and/or working with a Learning Management System required (knowledge of the Thought Industries LMS a big plus)
• Experience supporting and/or creating a Certification program is required
• 3+ years experience in a Customer-facing Education organization required
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
• Proactive team player. Able to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complexity to develop solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to structure conversations / presentations at all levels of the business.
• Experience with the Gong platform a plus.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,350-$157,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
