Extensive Troubleshooting of SQL Servers issues like long query, SQL Service status, SQL Server Connection Failure, DB Not sync with cluster server, Login issues, temp DB issue, permissions issues, DB shrink issue etc. and providing best solutions among known multiple servers. Performing routine maintenance tasks in SQL Azure cloud and on prem environment such as patching, maintenance and optimizing performance to ensure that the infrastructure is running at peak efficiency. Documentation of the SQL, Sybase environment, including configurations, policies, and procedures, to ensure that the infrastructure is well-documented and easy to manage. Working on Generic and Datacenter Service request, all kind of user and System generated tickets from Priority 1 to Priority 4 related to Server, Implementation of change and providing RCA. Planned and executed SQL Server database migrations across environments, including version upgrades and server-to-server migrations with minimal downtime. Worked on migration activities from on-premises SQL Server environments to cloud platforms such as Azure SQL and SQL Server on Azure VM. Involving in SQL Server Patching, Upgrades and Migration. Management of Backup, Restore, Recovery in SQL server. Patch Review & Approval for SQL server by monthly from expert level and troubleshooting of patching by analyzing various logs and action plan. Expert in Vulnerability Mitigation planning and working on same. Taking care of User escalations and fulfilling the request.

Expertise in SQL Server database management, configuration, and installation, providing appropriate setup and maintenance. Deployment, Management and Troubleshooting of MSSQL server. Managing regular recovery testing, backups, and restores to guarantee data security and business continuity. Configure and tracked log shipping for vital databases for ensuring availability and redundancy. Rebuilding and rearranging indexes to enhance query performance. Managing SQL Server performance by efficient resource management and query optimization to improve database performance. Scheduling and automating routine jobs, including backup, integrity checks, and optimization tasks, using SQL Server Agent. By configuring users, logins permissions in accordance with corporate guidelines, maintaining security. Managing Always On availability groups and failover clusters, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability. Performing database shrinking as needed to maintain disk space efficiency without impacting performance. Managing L1 level tasks in SQL environment like Monitoring of DB status, long running query, Logins creation, provisioning new resources and services as needed, backup failure, and SQL Server connection. Implementing security policies, monitoring for threats, and implementing appropriate security controls. Involving in migration activities and perform performance tuning for better functioning on server. Support hybrid database environments, including on-prem SQL Servers and Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VM Monitor databases and handle daily operational tasks such as incident resolution, backup and restore activities, and performance troubleshooting. Use Azure Portal, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Query Store, and native SQL Server tools for regular DBA monitoring and analysis. Manage L1 and L2 production incidents related to database availability, performance issues, login failures, and restore requests. Work closely with application, middleware, and cloud teams during incidents and scheduled maintenance activities Follow ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management. Managing, monitoring, and routine checkup of middleware applications on Tomcat, Apache, and Wild Fly servers. To preserve stability, root-cause investigation and troubleshooting were carried out for server and application problems. Supporting the creation, modification, and troubleshooting of jobs as well as the day-to-day operations of Control-M job scheduling and Job status. Control-M agents’ availability and OTM Bounce performance concerns. Used to in working over incident, Problem and Change Management process over Service Now Tool. Following best approach to avoid any Human error or security breach. Adhere with SLA & OLA. Adhere to follow Company standards for information security and escalation matrix.
