Leading the migration of on-premises enterprise services to a scalable, event- driven Azure architecture, with a focus on API governance and accessibility. Migrated on-premises enterprise services to a fully event-driven Azure architecture spanning ~30 Function Apps and hundreds of Logic Apps integrated via Service Bus, enabling reliable, near real-time data flow across all connected systems. Eliminated cross-team release bottlenecks and cut infrastructure costs by designing an independent microservices architecture that enabled per- service deployments. Enforced centralized security policy and API lifecycle governance across every environment by implementing Azure API Management as a unified gateway. Made releases repeatable and controlled across all environments by owning the delivery pipeline end-to-end — CI/CD in Azure DevOps driving monthly releases, with Function Apps and Logic Apps provisioned from ARM templates instead of configured by hand in the portal. Cut turnaround time on routine implementation, refactoring, and documentation by integrating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) into the delivery process.

Sole backend owner of a cloud-native B2B product configurator and pricing engine used by international distributors to configure products and stream validated orders into the corporate ERP pipeline. Owned the full lifecycle — from architecture and implementation to multi-environment deployment. Built and shipped a fully documented REST API from scratch as sole backend owner on . NET Azure Functions with Entity Framework Core and Azure SQL, with automated deployments across Dev, Training, and Production environments. Secured access for international sales regions with scoped, role-based JWT tokens by building a custom Azure Functions middleware pipeline for centralized token validation and global error handling, integrating Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Graph for RBAC. Automated the ERP fulfilment pipeline's data ingestion end-to-end by engineering an asynchronous ingestion layer with Azure Service Bus, plus a runtime dual data-source factory bridging SharePoint and Blob storage with the transactional database on scheduled import jobs.

Cloud integration work for a leading business consulting and auditing provider, whose data was kept in sync across systems by a slow, error-prone manual process. Eliminated the manual data replication process and the human errors that came with it by designing and implementing a new automated integration layer between all the systems that required data synchronization. Built the event-driven integration architecture on Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Function Apps fronted by API Management, with secrets in Key Vault, Redis caching, and full observability through Application Insights and Log Analytics. Provisioned the entire infrastructure as code with Terraform — every Azure service behind the solution created from code and reproducible across environments, with no manual portal setup.

Technical lead on a roofing industry platform held back by poor performance and the lack of an accounting module for invoicing, payments, and transaction management. Owned the technical side of the engagement end-to-end — gathering requirements directly with the client's stakeholders, running demos, and turning those discussions into the technical decisions the team built against. Built the accounting module the platform was missing — invoicing, direct in-app payment processing through Heartland Payment System, and transaction management — removing the manual data entry accountants had been doing. Removed the performance bottlenecks that were limiting how many users the platform could serve through work across the API and the backend, leaving the codebase easier to maintain and extend.
