#OpenToWorkI'm a learning design professional with six years of experience translating complex content and performance goals into measurable, outcome driven learning experiences. Every program I run follows the same discipline: set a clear, measurable skill standard, design targeted interventions to close the gap, then track results and refine the approach for the next cycle. I built and ran this exact process every year as a classroom teacher, setting a skill development objective for each course, using pretest data to set a target, and tracking outcomes against it to inform how I taught the following year. I also used standardized exam data to redesign curriculum year over year and ongoing practice data to adjust instruction week to week. Alongside teaching, I led the Social Studies Learning Leadership Team where my core responsibilities included running regular team meetings and giving colleagues structured, content focused feedback on curriculum alignment and delivery. I also lead an international group travel program in partnership with EF Tours, coordinating logistics, budgets, and communications across multiple time zones for groups of 15 or more. This involves currency reconciliation, partnering directly with local guides and heritage site educators to shape learning content, growing enrollment year over year, and serving as the point of contact when something goes wrong and needs a fast, calm resolution. I have sat on hiring boards for coaching staff, administered program budgets and invoice approvals for a 50+ organization athletics program, and founded and run a small beverage business. This all allows me to bring genuine, hands on experience with recruitment, financial administration, and operations, not just theory. In 2025 I was selected as one of a small national group of AP World History teachers to score standardized exams remotely, so remote, high stakes, deadline driven work is already proven ground for me. I'm currently transitioning out of the classroom and into learning and development, instructional design, and program management work. I bring evidenced experience in program design, data driven evaluation, curriculum development, line management, recruitment, budget administration, and cross functional coordination. I am currently based in Arizona and open to fully remote roles. My family is planning an international relocation, so time zone flexibility and distributed collaboration aren't new to me, they're already how I work.
Program design, instructional design, curriculum development, or learning and development roles on a remote team, ideally one where I can own a program end to end: set a skill or engagement goal, design content with subject matter experts, then use outcome data to refine it. Comfortable across time zones and industries. A team working in history, culture, or heritage is a strong plus, not a requirement.

Sandra Day O'Connor High School
Lead international educational travel programs across Europe, Asia and the South Pacific for groups of 15+ participants in partnership with EF Tours with a direct focus on local culture and history. Grow participation year on year through recruitment events and informational meetings, building enrollment pathways that turn first time travelers into repeat participants across multiple tours. Partner directly with local guides, museum staff and heritage site educators, subject matter experts in their fields, to co design culturally and historically focused learning experiences well beyond a typical visitor itinerary. Administer program budgets through EF Tours' online group management platform, including payment tracking, expense reconciliation across multiple currencies (EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, USD), deposit processing and purchasing compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, families and international tour operators throughout the full program life cycle, handling unexpected logistical challenges in real time.
Deer Valley Unified School District
Delivered 6,500+ hours of live, in person historical content each year to groups of 30+ students across five daily sessions. Taught major historical themes through Advanced Placement World History and U.S. History, including urbanization, tenement housing, industrialization, women's labor movements, 19th & 20th century political and civil unrest. Designed and executed an annual Student Learning Objective for each course: established a baseline through pretest data, set a measurable outcome goal (for example, all students reaching 80%+ or a 30% score increase), defined multiple targeted instructional interventions, then tracked results against the goal to inform delivery. Used AP World History exam data to restructure the following year's curriculum, and ongoing practice test data to adjust weekly lesson plans and practice strategies in real time. Led the Social Studies Learning Leadership Team, running regular team meetings and providing structured, content focused feedback to colleagues on curriculum alignment, delivery consistency and quality assurance across multiple concurrent programs. Maintained safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality standards to regulated compliance requirements, and communicated with 150+ families each year through written correspondence, in person meetings and responsive problem solving.
