Led parts of financial and regulatory due diligence across banking and wealth management transactions such as Bank of Georgia acquisition of Bank of Armenia. Contributed to origination and business development creating M&A challenges and opportunities decks following SVB and Credit Suisse collapses. Initiated first EY Strategy and Transactions meeting with EBRD on potential opportunities. Part of a 5 people Quality Assurance team guiding another 100 juniors team on a UK regulatory project work. Built a strong understanding of UK commercial banking models, balance sheets, and regulatory frameworks. Guided junior/ support team members in delivering EY reports to the clients (analysis).

Managed EU and GIZ-funded programmes focused on private sector development, in particular SME finance and financial sector development. Managed programme budgets, teams, and delivery against performance targets. Led analytical work including impact investment feasibility assessments in Ukraine and Georgia, engaging directly with SMEs, financial institutions and investors to evaluate financing needs and capital gaps. Oversaw project team work quantifying the impact of EU4Business initiatives towards SME's in Eastern Partnership countries Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia mainly). Worked as GIZ funded expert of Green Jobs in Serbia project. Maintained institutional relationships across public stakeholders, banks and development partners across multiple jurisdictions.

Operation leader (managed portfolio £100mln+) for 10 debt, trade finance and equity portfolio investments in Greece, Romania, Poland, and Slovak Republic, including financial performance monitoring and risk assessment. Deal volume range was from £5mln to £30mln in largest transaction with an undisbursed tranche. Led financial modelling, credit analysis, and transaction documentation for a new banking client in Romania, coordinating across legal, risk, ESG, and internal approval committees Board, Small Business Investment Committee). Conducted regular portfolio reviews and financial analysis of SME-focused financial intermediaries, assessing performance and development impact. Gained strong credit expertise focused on EBRD's mandate to provide sustainable and impactful finance and business models. Gained direct exposure to banking investment cycle, governance processes, and use of technical cooperation resources in transaction development. Developed strong relationships within the teams and colleagues (interpersonal skills) allowing for quick problem solving with disbursements, transition impact rating, term sheet wording that supported client-facing interaction.

Provided ongoing support to EBRD's corporate/SME and FI portfolio investments through financial analysis and due diligence supporting senior bankers. Conducted outreach to 50 SMEs and entrepreneurs, assessing financing needs and supporting integration into formal banking relationships. Developed financial models and KPI monitoring frameworks for quasi-equity investments supporting SME growth. Investment lead in final stages on SME's retail expansion in Bosnia EUR 2.5mln) including visiting the company on a monthly basis to support the sustainable expansion and ensuring funds provided are having a targeted impact. Contributed to the development and launch of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s first private pension fund initiative £1mln), supporting market development and financial sector diversification as the current government backed fund is unsustainable solution.
