About
I am a versatile operations, project coordination, and client relationship professional with over 15 years of experience spanning association management, business administration, stakeholder engagement, and business development.
My foundation was built over nine years as a Project Planner within the automotive logistics sector, contracted to Volkswagen South Africa, where I led and staffed project teams across numerous projects, for example the EA111 Engine Export Line, and conducted new business development investigations to help the company win new manufacturer clients, such as BMW and Ford.
I currently hold full financial and decision-making authority within a 7-member association committee serving an alumni network of over 6,000 members, including full signing power over banking. Though my fixed annual operating budget is only R400,000, the total funds I manage fluctuate significantly from year to year and event to event, often running into several hundreds of thousands of additional rand through donations, event profits, and sponsorships.
I hold end-to-end profit and loss responsibility across a portfolio of large-scale events, with regular sourcing and management of corporate sponsors and partnerships.
Besides my formal employment, I am also co-founder of an active web design and e-commerce services business. I also founded two online clothing boutiques, personally building the websites, sourcing and purchasing stock, and managing packaging and sales, before exiting both profitably.
Combining strong organisational rigour, client relationship instinct, and financial and business development acumen with practical, hands-on delivery, I am equally comfortable setting strategy and executing the detail.
What I'm looking for
I'm looking for a remote opportunity where I can take on real ownership and grow beyond routine administrative or coordination work. I'm particularly interested in Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or Digital Communications roles, but I'm genuinely open to opportunities that make good use of my broader commercial and leadership experience.
