Own Iru’s brand strategy, voice, messaging, and creative direction across campaigns, web, events, social, sales, and executive communications. Help define the next chapter of Iru’s brand after the Kandji-to-Iru transition, including how we explain who we are, what we do, our strategic narrative, and why the category is changing. Partner closely with our Head of Brand Design to ensure messaging, story, and visual expression work together as one system. Build and execute on brand campaigns every quarter. We want to go big and bold, but staying grounded in who we are as a brand and connected to our product value. Collaborate with events, demand generation, communications, and growth marketing to ensure Iru’s brand shows up consistently across the full customer journey. Manage agencies, contractors, and internal creative partners as needed. Create internal tooling and systems to thoughtfully accelerate creative development across the marketing team.
Experience leading brand, creative, or brand marketing for a high-growth B2B technology company. A track record of x brand during a major company inflection point, such as a rebrand, category expansion, enterprise repositioning, new product narrative, or market awareness push. Strong strategic writing and messaging instincts. You can turn ambiguity into a sharp story. Comfort marketing to technical, skeptical, or expert audiences: ideally IT, security, developer, infrastructure, or enterprise software buyers. Excellent creative judgment across copy, campaigns, web, events, video, social, and brand systems. Ability to partner with strong designers without needing to personally own visual execution. Experience leading cross-functional creative work with executives, product leaders, sales, growth, communications, and agencies. Strong operating range: able to set strategy, build systems, give feedback, edit copy, shape campaigns, and jump into the details when needed. Willingness to take creative risks in a B2B category that often defaults to safe, forgettable work. A business lens. You understand that brand is not decoration, as it should drive awareness, trust, consideration, sales confidence, recruiting, and long-term company value.
Experience in cybersecurity, IT, endpoint management, identity, compliance, or developer/infrastructure software. Experience leading a rebrand or repositioning from a narrower product category into a broader platform narrative. Experience building brand systems from scratch in a lean or fast-moving environment. Experience partnering with executives on thought leadership, keynote narratives, launch moments, or category POVs. Comfort using AI tools as part of the creative and strategic workflow. Experience with editorial, social, video, events, or content programming, especially if you’ve turned high-signal conversations, research, or customer insight into multi-channel brand moments.
In your first 6–12 months, you will have: Clarified Iru’s brand narrative and helped the company explain the move from Kandji to Iru in a way the market understands. Built a sharper, more consistent voice across our website, campaigns, events, social presence, and sales-facing materials. Partnered with design to create a more cohesive brand system across touchpoints. Launched brand campaigns or moments that make Iru feel distinct in IT and security. Helped technical audiences understand not just what Iru does, but why the category is changing and why Iru is positioned to lead it. Created the operating system for brand review, creative development, agency collaboration, and cross-functional alignment.
