You will lead a multi-skilled team that drives superior results, exceeds KPI targets, coaches and develops its people, strives for continual year-on-year improvements, and ensures that team engagement and employee well-being are front of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and deciding - Takes control and exercises leadership, initiates action, provides others with clear direction, and takes responsibility. Sets behavioral standards while motivating and empowering others.
  • Health and Safety - Ensures H&S is at the top of every agenda. Contributes to and supports the company's drive to create a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Organising and executing - Plans ahead, is systematic, follows directions and procedures while setting clearly defined objectives, monitors performance and outputs, learns from results, and applies them consistently.
  • Results driven - Works best when work is closely related to results. Shows business acumen, understands finance and commerce, keeps up to date with competitor information and market trends, identifies business opportunities, and drives efficiencies.
  • Interacting and presenting - Effectively communicates, persuades, and influences others, maintains credibility, expresses opinions clearly, and builds collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  • Training & Development - Ensures team members are competent in their roles while building their capability through PDPs, aligned with the CLASS and 70/20/10 models.
  • Financial Control - Collaborates with finance partners to deliver effective budget management and achieve commercial contribution targets.
  • Operational Efficiency - Works with internal and external partners to optimize cost control, stock holding, and service levels for a best-in-class operational arm.

What You Will Bring

  • Performance mindset with coaching experience and enhanced leadership and influencing skills.
  • Broad leadership experience of 5+ years within an FMCG environment, including team management, commercial, and category experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internally and externally.
  • Advanced IT skills to effectively manage workload and communicate a compelling narrative.
  • Experience in national head office account management and influential communication with customers.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Drive, motivation, and energy with a strong desire to win.
