About Archy
Archy is going after one of the biggest, most overlooked segments in healthcare: dental practices. There are 200,000+ dentists in the United States alone, running complex businesses on software that has not kept up. As our SEO Manager, you will be a key hire responsible for building the organic channel that puts Archy in front of dental practices when they start looking for a better way to run their office.
Job Description
We are looking for an SEO Manager who is strong across strategy, content, and technical fundamentals. Someone who can build a keyword-driven content program, keep the site technically healthy, and use AI tools and freelancers to produce more than a single person typically could.
At Archy, we build modern practice management software that helps dental offices spend less time on administrative work and more time on patients. When a dentist or office manager starts researching a switch in their PMS, we want Archy to be there. Your job is to build the content and SEO foundation that makes that happen.
You will own SEO and content strategy end to end, from keyword research and editorial planning to on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building. You will also help us show up in the places search is moving toward, AI-generated answers, featured snippets, and tools like Gemini and ChatGPT that are increasingly part of how dentists research software.
Job Responsibilities
- Own Archy's SEO strategy, covering keyword research, competitive analysis, content prioritization, on-page optimization, and performance reporting.
- Identify content gaps against competitors and prioritize what to build across the funnel.
- Continuously optimize existing pages for rankings, CTR, and conversion.
- Work towards getting Archy mentioned on LLMs, structuring content so Archy gets cited and surfaced in AI-generated answers and tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews.
- Build and manage a content calendar covering blog posts, comparison pages, and guides.
- Write and edit the highest-priority pieces yourself, and manage freelance writers to scale output beyond what one person can produce alone.
- Set a clear editorial bar for Archy content: useful to a dental audience, credible, and not generic.
- Use AI tools to speed up research, content drafting, optimization, and reporting.
- Build repeatable workflows for content production so we can increase volume as the program grows.
- Monitor how AI-generated search experiences, including Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and ChatGPT, are affecting visibility in our category, and adjust content and structure accordingly.
- Own the technical SEO roadmap and work with our web team on implementation, covering site architecture, crawlability, page speed, internal linking, and indexation.
- Run regular site audits to find and prioritize issues holding back organic performance.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and structured data. You do not need to write the code (unless you want to!), but you need to know what to ask for.
- Build a link acquisition program focused on earning links from relevant dental industry publications, associations, and directories.
- Identify link opportunities through content-driven tactics, partnerships, and outreach to sites already covering practice management topics.
- Track domain authority progress and maintain a pipeline of active link-building targets.
- Own our SEO performance reporting, covering rankings, organic traffic, leads, and content ROI.
- Use data to prioritize what to work on next and make the case internally for where to invest.
- Connect organic metrics to pipeline and revenue in a way that is easy for leadership to understand.
Job Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or organic growth, ideally at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- A track record of growing organic traffic and rankings in a competitive space, not just maintaining them.
- Fluency with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Claude Code, and GA4.
- Strong content instincts. You can write well yourself and give useful feedback to others.
- Solid technical SEO knowledge. You can run an audit, identify issues, and work with an engineering team to fix them. Implementation is not expected to fall on you.
- Experience managing freelance writers or a content production system at scale.
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and optimization workflows.
- Familiarity with AEO and GEO concepts. You understand how to structure content to perform in AI-generated answers and have a view on how this changes content strategy.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
- Comfortable in a startup environment where the playbook is still being written.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and equity (some roles may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) plan
- Flexible vacation policy
- Remote-friendly culture
