Push Security
At Push Security, we’re on a mission to defend organizations where work and attacks actually happen: in the browser. For decades, security tools focused on endpoints and networks, leaving the browser, where everyone now works, as a massive blind spot that attackers are exploiting. We are changing that by defining the future of Browser-based Threat Detection and Response. Built by world-class red and blue team experts, Push gives defenders the real-time visibility and control needed to stop modern threats.
You'll be responsible for: Creating engaging content for technical professionals and ex-technical business leaders that are allergic to marketing fluff. Optimizing content for different audiences and mediums. Your priority is educating on threats and informing of the new ways of tackling them, but you’ll need to flex the level of technical depth according to the reader. Planning and executing content deliverables to tie in with the marketing calendar (really important for maximising the impact and reach of your work). Reacting quickly to high-interest news stories or research breakthroughs that present the biggest opportunity to the business in terms of marketing relevance and reach. Same day turnarounds of breaking research aren’t uncommon (but they’re not every day, either). Ensuring the successful execution of the content you create — be prepared to upload it to the website, tinker with graphics, tweak webpages, draft and edit social copy, and be a champion of quality standards.
(You don't need to tick every one of these to !)
Experience: 4+ years in a cyber security role where you were responsible for some form of content creation, be it marketing, bids, product management, threat research, or something else. Being able to evidence your creativity is a plus. If you’re a technical practitioner that is interested in coming over to the dark side of GTM, this could also be the role for you.
Content creation: Accomplished writer, able to present complex concepts in a clear, easy to understand way. Doesn’t go in for arcane technical jargon or marketing fluff, but says it like it is, in a way that clicks with practitioners.
Deadline management: Capable of leading projects involving multiple contributors to meet deadlines and ensure quality output.
Problem solver: A proactive and resourceful problem solver who can troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. Independent: An independent thinker and operator that can deliver projects without much handholding.
Strategic thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align content with broader business objectives, messaging changes, and feature releases.
You don’t have to be an expert, but just be prepared to learn and get stuck in with a range of marketing, design, SEO, and content management tools. We use Figma, Adobe Creative, HubSpot, Builder.io, and Contentful to name a few.
