We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Engineering Manager to join our growing team! In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, managing, and monitoring our engineering function and team members. You will be responsible for successful completion of projects by overseeing a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role has an option to work remotely from anywhere in Eastern or Central regions of the US.
Bachelor’s degree required, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as Software Developer or related position.
Full term of experience must include each of the following: JavaScript and TypeScript development; SQL and SQL database integration; Working in OS X environments, NoSQL, and GIT; Working in a scrum environment; Agile Application Development Lifecycle; Common design patterns; Working with 3rd party APIs, workflow and integration architectures; TDD and unit testing; XML, JSON or REST services, and APIs; Messaging infrastructure; Jenkins; JavaScript and TypeScript development; HTML and CSS; NPM and Webpack; React and React-Redux; React Router; and, Complying with PCI DSS requirements. One year’s experience in each of the following: AngularJS (“Angular 1”); Stylus; Sequelize (v5); MySQL; Node.js; Express; and React & React-Redux migration from AngularJS (“Angular 1”).
