The Ideon Geosciences team

The Ideon Geosciences team is comprised of several Geoscientific Analysts of various seniority levels. At a high level, Geoscientific Analysts combine data science and/or geoscience expertise with advanced Python to scale and optimize subsurface imaging workflows. This role sits at the intersection of geoscience, data engineering, and AI, improving how geophysical and geological data are processed, modeled, and analyzed. Working cross-functionally, this role makes scientific workflows more efficient, scalable, and reproducible. Success as a Geoscientific Analyst at Ideon means delivering reliable insights that surpass customer expectations, while enabling faster and high-quality customer project outcomes.

For each role at Ideon we look for a specific combo of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; we don't rush a hire just to fill a role. We are looking for torque multipliers who will help take the team to the next level.

• Able to add something “extra” to our culture beyond the work that you do (maybe you like to wow people with your home-baked goods, display wicked improv skills, or organize post-work sports games)
• Well-developed communication skills in English at a professional level; able to be assertive and respectful
• Currently legally able and documented to work in the country of hire
