Remote job description

Everlywell is a digital health company pioneering the next generation of biomarker intelligence—combining AI-powered technology with human insight to deliver personalized, actionable health answers. We transform complex biomarker data into life-changing insights—seamlessly integrating advanced diagnostics, virtual care, and patient engagement to reshape how and where health happens.

Over the past decade, Everlywell has delivered close to 1 billion personalized health insights, transforming care for 60 million people and powering hundreds of enterprise partners. In 2025, an estimated 1 in 94 U.S. adults received an Everlywell test, solidifying our spot as the #1 at-home testing company in the country. Fueled by AI and built for scale, we’re breaking down barriers, closing care gaps, and unlocking a more connected healthcare experience that is smarter, faster, and more personalized. We are hiring a Senior Director, Account Management & Partner Strategy to lead Everlywell's account management team and build our partner strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be a key member of the commercial leadership team — owning retention, renewal, and expansion across our health plan and enterprise client base, and developing and executing partnerships with digital health and other ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, hire, develop, and coach a team of Strategic Account Directors and Account Managers
  • Shape and own the account management strategy, coverage model, and annual and quarterly goals, aligned with company priorities
  • Set account planning standards and operating cadence: account plans, executive business reviews, pipeline and forecast reviews, and risk reviews
  • Build a strong talent bench through clear expectations, regular feedback, career paths, and succession planning
  • Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, partnering with Business Development, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, and Legal
  • Account Management
  • Own retention, renewal, and expansion targets for the full client portfolio
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with client executives (VP+ level) at key accounts, positioning Everlywell as a long-term strategic partner rather than a vendor
  • Act as player-coach on select high-profile, complex accounts and lead major renewal and expansion negotiations with Legal and Finance
  • Drive growth across the portfolio — new programs, populations, lines of business, and markets — in partnership with Business Development
  • Forecast portfolio revenue and pipeline monthly in HubSpot and report on performance, risks, and opportunities to the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex client issues, leading cross-functional mitigation plans through to resolution
  • Work alongside Project Management, Implementation, Clinical, Product, and Operations to ensure programs are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget with a superior client experience
  • Bring the voice of the client into product and commercial roadmaps
  • Partner Strategy
  • Develop and execute Everlywell's partner strategy with digital health and other relevant ecosystem partners (e.g., digital health platforms, care navigation and benefits ecosystem partners)
  • Define partner priorities and selection criteria; build and manage the partner pipeline
  • Structure partner deals in partnership with Chief Commercial Officer, Finance, and Legal
  • Build joint go-to-market plans that tie partnerships to client retention and growth
  • Set partner performance metrics, run regular partner business reviews, and manage partner performance

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of account management, client partnership, partnerships, or commercial leadership experience in the healthcare industry
  • 5+ years of people leadership, including building and developing high-performing client-facing teams
  • Experience working with health plans required; experience with health plan quality programs (e.g., HEDIS, Star Ratings), at-home diagnostics, or population health a plus
  • Track record of owning and growing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of enterprise business, including retention, renewals, and expansion
  • Experience building or managing strategic partnerships in digital health or the broader healthcare ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success managing executive-level client relationships and leading renewal and expansion negotiations
  • Bachelor's Degree required — business or science related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Ability to think strategically and bring structure to team planning and execution
  • Ability to empower and develop your team — keeping them focused on the highest priorities
  • Highly analytical, strategic thinker and data driven, but also a creative problem solver for complex solutions
  • Exceptional executive presence, with strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation development skills — comfortable in the room with client and internal C-suite leaders
  • Strong commercial acumen, including contract, pricing, and negotiation experience
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to maximize performance without compromising quality, budget, or timelines
  • Ability to leverage and use AI with fluency and understanding
  • Results-focused and self-motivated, with a flexible and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes priorities simultaneously
  • Exercises sound judgment and diplomacy with both clients and internal teams
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced and evolving environment a plus
  • Familiar with HubSpot a plus

The base salary range for this role is $190,000-$215,000 based on the selected candidate's qualifications, market data/ranges, location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, health, dental, vision & mental health insurance, 401(k) with company match, Flexible PTO and various other perks.
