Specialist Supply Planning

Mejuri

TorontoCA$60,000 - CA$85,000 / yearOther

Job Overview

The Supply Planner is responsible for the accuracy and health of Mejuri's inbound inventory pipelines across a defined portfolio of categories or suppliers.

In this role you will manage the full PO lifecycle — from placement through receipt. You will serve as the operational point of contact for suppliers, working closely with the Manager, Supply Planning on risk escalation and priority calls. You will collaborate with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Allocation, and FC teams on inbound timing and execution questions.

The Product Supply team operates with a high degree of individual ownership across defined portfolios.

What you'll do

Supply Execution & Purchasing
  • Own the end-to-end PO lifecycle for your assigned category or supplier portfolio - from OTB receipt through accurate, on-time PO placement and delivery
  • Manage supplier constraints within your scope (MOQs, lead times, capacity) and coordinate receipt timing to keep inbound flow aligned with plan
  • Monitor open orders daily; proactively surface delays, quantity discrepancies, and at-risk receipts to the Manager with a recommended course of action
  • Execute supply reallocation and priority shifts as directed during periods of constraint or disruption
Inventory & OTB Management
  • Maintain accurate OTIF metrics for your assigned portfolio; flag variances against targets to the Manager
  • Identify and escalate excess and obsolete inventory risks within your scope; support corrective actions as directed
  • Keep planning system data current - lead times, MOQs, supplier parameters - so that models and forecasts reflect ground truth
Analytics & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain recurring supply planning reports - open order trackers, inbound pipelines, OTIF dashboards - ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
  • Compile weekly and monthly KPI inputs for the Manager; surface anomalies and provide context so insights can be communicated upstream
  • Build and maintain ad hoc analyses to investigate supply issues, lead time trends, or vendor performance within your portfolio
  • Translate data into concise, clearly structured summaries for the Manager and immediate cross-functional partners - not senior leadership presentations
Vendor Management
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for suppliers within your portfolio - managing routine PO confirmations, delivery follow-ups, and lead time updates
  • Track and report on OTIF, delivery adherence, and responsiveness for your assigned vendors; flag persistent issues to the Manager for escalation
  • Participate in supplier check-ins and review meetings; bring prepared data and follow up on agreed actions
  • Maintain accurate vendor master data - lead times, MOQs, contact information - and flag when parameters need to be renegotiated
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Allocation, and FC teams on day-to-day supply execution questions and inbound timing
  • Contribute receipt projections and inbound pipeline updates for S&OP inputs as directed by the Manager
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives; bring forward observations from your daily work that could improve team tools or workflows

What you bring to the team:

  • Demonstrated experience in supply planning, inventory planning, or procurement - ideally with exposure to both Ecommerce and Retail channels
  • Hands-on experience managing the full PO lifecycle, including supplier follow-up, lead time management, and receipt reconciliation
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with planning tools or ERP systems is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and organized - able to manage a high volume of open orders and supplier interactions without dropping the ball
  • Clear, direct communicator; able to flag issues early and summarize data concisely for your manager and peers
  • Collaborative team player who takes ownership of their scope and proactively asks for direction when priorities are unclear
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; brings a continuous improvement mindset to daily work
  • AI Fluency or Curiosity; We welcome candidates at all stages of their AI journey — what matters is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an openness to working alongside AI tools as part of how we do our best work.

Things we consider an asset:

  • Experience in the Fashion or Jewelry industry
  • Experience working in a multi-country or multi-channel supply chain
  • Familiarity with S&OP processes and how supply planning feeds into broader business planning cycles
  • Experience with vendor scorecarding or supplier performance tracking
