Senior QA Test Engineer

Apogee Global RMS is looking for a Senior QA Test Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance across the entire development lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on testing expertise, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, and backend components
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Validate functionality, performance, security, and usability across releases
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality
• Contribute to automation frameworks and CI/CD testing pipelines
• Ensure regression coverage and maintain test documentation
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and quality gates

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of QA/testing experience in fast-paced engineering environments
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing and automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation
• Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and collaborate with engineering teams
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation frameworks in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Understanding of security testing fundamentals
