Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to have great computer networking, internet, and Wi-Fi. Businesses of all sizes and industries increasingly rely on internet infrastructure for daily operations, yet getting connected today is incredibly difficult. To solve this problem, Meter builds and manages a vertically integrated solution across hardware, software, and operations. We believe people who build hardware and software should be the ones responsible for it. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility.

This role is critical to Meter's success

We have ambitious growth goals as we deploy Meter's infrastructure to thousands of locations and millions of devices around the world. To drive this growth, we are expanding our GTM efforts into Europe by hiring our first sales team member in the UK. Meter has historically operated only in North America. This is a unique opportunity to establish Meter's business across a number of new European markets.

We are looking for someone who is self motivated and inspired by the idea of building something great. They should have a track record of consistently outperforming ambitious sales targets in the UK and must be adept at breaking into new markets. The candidate needs to have experience selling a technically complex product to technical buyers, through direct-to-buyer and channel partners. Meter is a channel sales organization, so this person will need a strong understanding of how to recruit, engage and enable channel partners. The ideal candidate will be inspired by Meter's mission of building a modern utility and by the opportunity to help build a world-class sales team.

You will have an impact by

  • Being kind & ambitious, and serving as primary culture carrier for Meter in the UK and Europe
  • Establishing Meter's channel strategy throughout the UK and Europe by activating a network of partners
  • Sourcing and closing net new mid-market and enterprise deals throughout the UK and Europe
  • As the lighthouse sales team member in Europe, helping hire and onboard new sales colleagues as Meter builds a European sales team
