Lead engineer within a lean platform engineering team, solely responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and AI-enabled platforms across multiple portfolio companies within a global insurance group Spearheaded AWS Landing Zone design and implementation using Account Factory for Terraform (AFT), establishing scalable account vending, governance guardrails, and account customisations across the full AWS estate Architected and operate a Container-as-a-Service platform on Amazon EKS, serving as the shared production-grade compute backbone for multi-portfolio workloads Pioneered AI infrastructure from the platform team — designed and deployed an AI-powered voice agent for insurance claims handling using LiveKit, LangGraph, and Azure OpenAI, enabling automated claim intake, repair shop booking, and multi-agent orchestration for vehicle repair use cases Architected and delivered Cloudflare Zero Trust infrastructure across multiple Kubernetes clusters: ○ Implemented Cloudflare Tunnels for private application exposure and Zero Trust Access policies for 20+ internal tools (ArgoCD, Grafana, Kibana, Airflow). ○ Established Layer 4 Gateway Network Policies with default-deny and per-team allow rules using EntraID group-based identity. ○ Deployed M2M Service Token authentication for CI/CD and service-to-service access, with credentials managed via AWS SSM and full GitOps audit trail. Design and build Databricks infrastructure for data platform teams — provisioning and managing workspaces across 4 AWS regions and multiple business domains using Terragrunt, deploying Unity Catalog metastores and data catalogs with fine-grained access control, and managing service principals for CI/CD automation across nonprod, preprod, and prod environments Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure design, and platform governance end-to-end across 4 portfolio company AWS environments
